Anything for a Laugh

I once said if skies went black and oceans red
If I knew tomorrow that I’d be dead
I’d only stay to see it through
Because my heart lives
Inside of you.

Now…..

Counting sheep when skies are black
And you’re asleep
I can feel the sound inside you deep
A part of me, a part of you
A heart that beats inside of you
It knows your laugh, it knows mine too
This little baby -- baby blue

And I can’t wait to see his face
The one we made when we made love
The one that we’ve been
Thinking of.
But you should know when Sawyer’s two
I will still be there to see it through

it's probably a lie.

In the crowded Diner
We Played our Game
Sweating and cursing
All Puffed up and Proud
Water is thicker than you think.

Outside a black girl
Gets hit by a car and
Nobody can hear her
over the screaming
And nobody cares.
Two gallons of blood
Lay on the street.

My Brother is Crying
And I don’t understand why.
Later I remember
He has just lost his father
Who I never knew.

I chase the sticky toad
And it plays dead
I am in the land of dirty bathrooms
And bloated time.

i am the truth

No, I'm not the way or the light. Just the truth. There are many rooms inside my head. There are no doors.
